Butterfly Kyah.
**NOTICE;; THE AUDIO TRACK WAS DISABLED FOR WHATEVER REASON. THE SONG WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ‘MAY IT BE’ BY ENYA. SO JUST TURN THAT AUDIO ON WHILST WATCHING. THANKYOU.** Kyah was born on November 28th, 2005 a beautiful babygirl. She lived life with great health until she was 19 months old, when she was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, the cancer that would later take her life. She fought her tiny self through treatments, and whilst she did, keeping an infectious smile on her most gorgeous face. On November 19th, 2008 Kyah passed peacefully and flew up to Heaven with the angelic little butterfly wings she was born with. She always had wings, she just wasn’t ready to fly. A word from her loving mum: “Kyah – (African – derived from Kya) means ‘diamond in the sky’. When pregnant with her, Jason and I could not agree on a name. ‘Kyah’ was on our short list and it was the name we said we would use if we couldn’t sway each other towards our own favourite names. Being wheeled to theatre, we still hadn’t decided and said that we would choose once she was born as it might become clearer. As soon as she was held up so I could see her, I decided that she was indeed, Kyah. She is our diamond in the sky and she shines so brightly. And will continue to do so forever.” Visit her webpage to read her battle and the legacy she has left behind: kyahsjourney.livejournal.com
